Roast Beef Po Boy Sandwiches













Beef Roast
flour
oil
salt/pepper
garlic powder
Kitchen Bouquet
French Rolls
Mayo
Pickles
Lettuce
tomato

Trim the fat from the roast and boil the roast w/ no seasoning for about 1 1/2 hours! (What? no seasoning....I know-I know this was extremely hard for me. Remove from the water (save this stock). Cool and slice the roast beef, place in a baking dish and set aside.

Make the Gravy:

Using Flour, oil salt, pepper, garlic powder, kitchen bouquet make a roux (this will be thick and globby). Mix with the stock that you boiled the beef in. Pour gravey over the sloced roast beef and bake for 1 - 1/2 hours.

Assemble the Sandwiches:

French Rolls
mayo
pickles
lettuce
tomatoe
roast beef w/gravy
